On behalf of the Lancaster Minor Basketball Association (LMBA), THANK YOU for “clicking-on” to our website.
LMBA will be commencing its 25th season this September in serving our youth (ages 6-18) in Saint John, New Brunswick’s (Canada) West, North and Millidgeville areas. Our registration numbers are approximately 350 annually, with emphasis on our House League program, creating an environment for fun and learning. We also offer a “Rep” level of play, where our association has captured Provincial , Interprovincial and State of Maine Tournament Championships over the years. This speaks volumes for our level of coaching.
Our two major hi-lites each year are the Kean Tournament held between Dec.27-30 and the Brent Kelly Fun Day to be held on February 19, 2011. Both events are staged at the magnificent G. Forbes Elliott Fieldhouse on the University of New Brunswick-Saint John campus. Our youth, volunteers , and families look forward each year with eager anticipation to participate in these events.
We offer a very AFFORDABLE sport played within the WARM confines of five area schools. Our Puppies (ages 6 & 7) annual registration fee per child is $65.00,while the other age brackets’ fee is $95.00 per player. A family rate of $285.00 is offered. ”Rep” level players do pay more, which may vary each year in correlation with each team’s projected expense budget. Our annual Spring League is offered at $25.00 per player and will be held on every Saturday from April 2 – May 14,2011 (excluding Easter Saturday, April 23).
On-line registration will commence August 1, 2010.”Rep” team tryouts will begin the week of September 13.House League evaluations will start the week of September 20.
Finally, LMBA is deeply committed to our motto ,”Developing the Youth of our Community”.
