Division Coordinator's Duties

Please note that unlike other previous years coordinators are NOT required to attend all games.

  • Be the primary liaison between the League Executive and the coaches and parents of your division

Learn the basics of the LMBA online system and assist parents, coaches and managers within your division.(online training is available taking under an hour!)

Attend the information session currently scheduled for Sept. 6th at the Lancaster Baptist Church Hall. Your division will have a table here where parents can come and ask any questions regarding registration, schedule, policies etc.

Handle all e-mail enquiries associated with your division. This process will start on August 1st but most enquiries are expected the first week or two of September.

Advise your assigned coaches of changes. e.g. schedule, infractions, suspensions, rules, etc. (usually by e-mail, at times a phone call is required).

Early in the season, attend games to help identify any disparity within the division.

From 1st week and up to 3rd week of play, work with your coaches to align the divisions to make as equal as possible. After 3rd week and by Wednesday before the fourth ,agree on the alignment with the intent to be equal and to be final.

    * It is imperative to discuss / divulge the tentative changes, of what you're considering, with the affected coaches
(pre-alignment), to get their take and information you may not be aware of - i.e. players are moving away, players have quit, etc.
Moving or not moving will not be at the coach's discretion, though we want their input, if they feel they are placed in an inappropriate division, their club contact can appeal to the executive, it is the league executive that will have the final say. (That say is based on the equality and competitiveness within the division, not if they can or cannot win a championship).

There will be a maximum of 2 coordinators meetings with a maximum time of 2 hours each in the entire season. Pre-season and end of regular season.
